Okay, I haven't finished the demo yet, but I have come to some immediate conclusions.
1. The ship is overly responsive, and brakes too quickly. Actually, the real problem is it's just too fast.
2. This is two-part. (a) Decrease enemy health - only a little, and (b) increase how much health the health power-ups give.
Await further instruction. :P
Make it where you have to destroy a certian amount of enemies before the game ends. because you can get through the demo without a single shot if you're good at evasion.
Boss fight was neat-looking but kinda lame because it's too hard to hit them and why don't they just team up on you at once instead of taking turns? maybe that's later in the game.

I thought it was easy enough to score several hits per cycle. :\
