Description: Blog of a Dragon Stud

Melancholy Spork - November 28, 2006 04:47 PM (GMT)
I'll add some blogging meat for you to chew on soon. Tuned stay!

AdioBam - November 29, 2006 01:10 AM (GMT)
I removed the stuff I wrote cuz it's mean, although funny.

Jguy101 - November 29, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
Not all that funny, Greg.

Giddy Fork - November 29, 2006 01:16 AM (GMT)
I laughed. But then stopped.

~Disenchanted~ - November 29, 2006 02:03 AM (GMT)
I didn't see the post...

Are we each supposed to have our own blog thread or something?

Jguy101 - November 29, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
If you want; Ceeps is way better, though.

~Disenchanted~ - November 29, 2006 02:10 AM (GMT)
I just use Myspace. :P

Jguy101 - November 29, 2006 02:20 AM (GMT)
Muh...My...MySpace?

*dies*

Melancholy Spork - November 29, 2006 02:22 AM (GMT)
Don't be dissin' da MySpace. Even if it does suck.

Is Ceeps compatable with Invisionfree?

Lyger - November 29, 2006 02:23 AM (GMT)
CompatIBLE! IBLE DANGIT. Whether A or I is determined by the Latin root and I'll bet you anything the original root was an i-stem.

Jguy101 - November 29, 2006 02:28 AM (GMT)
No, Ceeps Commune isn't a piece of software; it's a blog hosting site, run by Eps and Cee.

Yes, Myspace.
What, what about it? v_v

Jguy101 - November 29, 2006 02:51 AM (GMT)
It's just that the place is filled with n00bs. Oh, and FWIH, a ton of the page themes are IE-friendly; ergo, not good in a real web browser.

It's a good way for me to keep in touch with my friends; since I have this...this phone thing.

Jguy101 - November 29, 2006 02:56 AM (GMT)
Eh; I only have one two really good friends, and one's purely online. I don't need a website to keep track of them for me; I just read their blogs and chat with them on AIM. :P

Arriathan - November 29, 2006 05:32 PM (GMT)
You guys have totally hijacked poor Alg's topic. Shame on you.

Tahatu-nator - November 29, 2006 08:03 PM (GMT)

Grafiti about MySpace! *dies*

Seriously, MySpace is for people who don't care about the fact that the first two letters of 'www.' stand for "World-Wide". As in, people from China, Japan, Iraq, Canada, France, ANYWHERE know about what you post there. Ceeps is better because not anywhere close to the number of people who know of MySpace know of Ceeps.

Today I made some massive progress in Iruini and went to a King Tut exhibit at the Field Museum, which turned out to be excessively boring and far from educational. I should've just stayed home and caught up on my math, which I'm trying to do so I can learn a bit more about the algebra I need to know to get into a college class early.

Which reminds me, I'll be done with highschool a little after I turn 16. Woot.

After that I'll probably take a ton of business courses, and turn Anaglyph into a liscened developer, and work on that. I don't think I'll need another source of income if I play my cards right. I do need a business degree, though.

I took ONF's advice in Iruini and divided the level into a preset collection of larger masks. It's a pain, but theoretically it should fix a lot of problems. Though I've yet to test it.

The statue enemies seem to work just fine, although the bird things look a little retarded, as they appear to defy gravity by remaining airborne with no momentum. I'll have to make it so they just swoop in, I guess.

I've been sticking anaglyphgaming.com ALL over the freaking internet, but I've yet to get a single non-BZP member on the board. I'm gonna have to pimp the board on the site a little more after I finish the staff page and Mr. E makes those banners. I'm also going to change the font and get rid of the site's simplicity, which I'm growing less fond of.

...

Dinnertime soon. Alg out.

Which brings me to the downsides of public high school.

Jguy101 - November 30, 2006 02:54 AM (GMT)
Dude, I'm not THAT far ahead...you rock, Alg.

Melancholy Spork - November 30, 2006 03:32 PM (GMT)
I did the math, and at two or three lessons a week I can finish by next year. I could be done WAY earlier if I didn't have other books and classes to go through.

And right now I'm doing the grammar portion of my highschool lessons, some of you will be glad to hear.

Laughing Plasticware - November 30, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
Really now? *mischievious grin*

Tahatu-nator - December 1, 2006 02:17 AM (GMT)
I welcome you, Alg, to the society of the GRAMMAR HAMMER!

Melancholy Spork - December 2, 2006 02:44 AM (GMT)
Well, it snowed today. My mom rolled me out of bed to help shovel 8'' of snow out of the driveway. Did that for an hour and a half, did a highschool lesson and went sledding with some friends.

...actually, they're my little brother's friends, but they're nice enough.

I always sled down the steepest part of the hill and into a murky part of the hill full of trees. So far, I've knocked the wind out of me twice, gotten soaked, crashed into more than one tree on one run, and almost got stuck in the mud.

Fun times.

Anyway, my best friend came back from her friend's today so I've talked to her. That's fun.

And we had a scrumptions homemade meatloaf dinner. All in all, a decent day.

OH and I found a really old track that would make an absolutely perfect Iruini titlescreen. Way better than the one I have.

Giddy Fork - December 2, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
That's probably the same storm that hit us, we live close enough. Although we just had ice...everwhere.

Melancholy Spork - December 2, 2006 03:26 AM (GMT)
We didn't get it as bad as you seemed to, although the wind was howling pretty nasty all night. It snowed a good foot in some places.

Arriathan - December 2, 2006 04:05 AM (GMT)
Only eight inches of snow? Pff, you girl.

THE SNOW IS WAIST DEEP HERE.

AND IT IS MINUS 40.

And I have to take the bus, the little piece of Mill Hoods that escaped and started roaming up and down the city streets.

SO DON'T YOU GO COMPLAINING, WHIPPERSNAPPER.

...

Finished.

Melancholy Spork - December 2, 2006 04:20 AM (GMT)
*quietly points out that waist-deep for Ari is only knee-deep for me*

Rkaner - December 2, 2006 01:13 PM (GMT)
And I have no snow at all. It was snowing one week in October, and now thers's no snow. I don't want christmas without snow!

Sentinel - December 2, 2006 03:41 PM (GMT)
Good thing there's no winter Malaysia, no cold work, no difficulties and no chimneys.

AdioBam - December 2, 2006 05:50 PM (GMT)
Where do you live Alg? We just got a crapload of snow over here in Illinois.

Melancholy Spork - December 2, 2006 05:50 PM (GMT)
Illinois.

o_O Maybe I know you. What district?

AdioBam - December 2, 2006 06:21 PM (GMT)
I live in Minooka, in Grundy County. Basically, only 45 minutes from Chicago.

Jammin' Spork - December 2, 2006 06:28 PM (GMT)
We're all from the midwest! Except Ari the Canadian. :P

-cotk-

Jguy101 - December 2, 2006 06:36 PM (GMT)
Actually, not everyone besides Arri and Sent; I'm in Oregon. Which is the second-coolest place in the world.

Giddy Fork - December 2, 2006 06:41 PM (GMT)
But the midwest is the coolest.
Midwest uniiiiiiiite

Melancholy Spork - December 2, 2006 06:47 PM (GMT)
Ah, I'm in Des Plaines.

I actually don't much care for the Midwest. =\

Giddy Fork - December 2, 2006 06:52 PM (GMT)
Traitor.

:P

I like it, we get the cold winters, and hot summers.

Jammin' Spork - December 2, 2006 06:53 PM (GMT)
Wiscahnsin!

-cotk-

Melancholy Spork - December 2, 2006 06:55 PM (GMT)
Well, I'm a cold-weather person, myself. So I don't care much for hot summers.
