Title: The Glyphie Rules

Melancholy Spork - November 28, 2006 02:30 AM (GMT)
This is the official rules topic- if you have something to add, edit it into the post, as opposed to posting a new topic.

- Do not post pornography. This will result in immediate bannation.

- Do not flame. There is no excuse for unchecked hate.

- Do not advertise your website in a forum other than the Advertisement Forum to bypass the ten-posts minimum rule. Violations of this rule will be punished with a warning and the deletion of your topic.

- Do not post unreleased Anaglyph pixel art or digital paint art on the forums without Anaglyph's permission. This is also known as stealing.

- No explicit sexual discussion. As this is a teenage forum, slightly sexual discussion is permitted, but if it grows too inappropriate the discussion will be stopped by a Staff member.

- No signatures or avatars that may offend religious parties. Disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing is not cool. If you have something against a religious party, elaborate intelligently on that in the debate forum.

- Do not take the debate forum too seriously. This is the internet, not a life-and-death matter.

- Use your common sense while participating in this community. The most restrictive bond here is your intelligence and social awareness. That shouldn't be too hard.

- No drug related discussion. As a forum of minors, that could get us into trouble.

- Do not bypass the word filter. Excepting a situation in which the word is not being used for the obvious reason why it was filtered out, bypassing the word filter will be punished with warnings.

- There is not a single staff member on this board to which the rules do not apply. Just because you enforce the rules does not mean that you can break them.

Punishment methods will include, but are not limited to:

Warnings. These are given out in minor offenses, and are usually removed after a period of time when no additional offense has occurred.

Post rights restrictions. In slightly more serious conditions, your posting rights may be restricted by a staff member. This is a temporary punishment, and its duration depends on the seriousness of the crime.

Banning. If you have committed an offense serious enough to warrant this punishment, your attitude, reason for joining, and ability to relate to other members have rendered you unwelcome to further participate in the community. This punishment is rarely given out, but once it is, there is no turning back.

If you have questions or comments on these rules, feel free to PM me or another staff member.
