I have one, cause my sister forced me at cardboard boxpoint.
But apparently it's gonna delete me 'cause I joined with the nearest school here and I don't have any friends there to confirm me.
Wiffleball - November 15, 2007 02:02 AM (GMT)
I don't know what facebook is.

You know what's fun? The police can use any evidence collected on MySpace, Facebook, etc. All those kids who post pics and vids of themselves and their friends drinking and doing drugs? Yeah, that can get them in big trouble.
I honestly think it's fantastic when teens fill out MySpace surveys that ask them if they've had alcahol or drugs in the past month or something, and they say "hell ya". They're just begging for a house call.
[/completely pointless]
Giddy Fork - November 18, 2007 12:11 AM (GMT)
I totally agree, that's just retarded.
Kayru - November 18, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
Dang. And I clicked on that link because it was Albino Black Sheep, thinking I'd watch something funny.
SkittleShmexRawr - November 18, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
That's why you don't be an idiot and do that crap in the first place, ya know?
I used to know a girl that would post bulletins like:
"Title: rice crispies are god
Body: i am sooooooo high lol woah rice crispies are god so is sprite lol"
Kayru - November 18, 2007 01:17 AM (GMT)
There are quite a few like that in my friends' bulletins.
The part I hate more is when they have conversations from one person to another on the bulletins. Kinda defeats the purpose of messages, unless they're so sad and desperate that they want other people to follow their conversations, and think that anyone actually cares enough to do so.

Imo all these sites are made out of evil.

My cousin is on my school's volleyball team (same age as me) and a few of her friends, also on the team, posted pictures of themselves drinking on Myspace. They were suspended from the team. My cousin doesn't really talk to them much anymore now. I think it's retarded to put pics like that on Myspace.
I hate myspace.
AdioBam - November 18, 2007 01:23 AM (GMT)
Oh, and my friends put a picture of me poledancing (sorry guys, but I was wearing all my clothes) on their myspaces, too.
Kayru - November 18, 2007 01:25 AM (GMT)
Yeah, a friend of mine just put a video of two freshman girls fighting at the school on her Myspace... it was going around and everyone thought it was funny (they fought over a bag of chips)... until someone's mom saw it. She had it reported the next day so those two girls got suspended.
Yeah, people can be pretty retarded with what they say.

Some kids in my school got busted for grafitting a bomb threat in a bathroom because they posted it on MySpace.
Lolfail.

I got lost at the flowchart in the video. :P
Anyway, I have a Myspace. Don't really use it much... I put a few pictures up there for friends to see, and really only use it when friends put their pictures up or as a last resort to communication.
And I thought it was common sense that anything you put on the Internet can be used against you... I didn't think it was really a surprise to hear that. :P Plus, the people who talk through bulletins are usually complete idiots, especially when they talk about important personal matters.
I often think how easy it would be to ruin someone's life just by taking a few hours and looking at their Myspace and stuff. Probably not too hard. But to answer the question, no, I don't have a Facebook. Again, I'm not really into any of this stuff, but I did try to join once at the request of a friend, only to have the registration impossibly difficult and frustrating to the point where I just gave up.
