Chapter one: News
That news of war had plagued everyone since that say it was brought to out town. I watched as the day’s came and went without a trace of this so called ‘War’, personally I diden’t believe there is such a war, until that day it hit. But before I start this dreadful tale I think I should tell you abit about myself. My name is Rad Alc and im a 14 year old male. Ever since the dissaperance of our princess White out country has been in diplomatic war. Some people think that we should get elect a new heir to the throne. Me? I coulden’t give a Algernon. IV had been working at the palace for a while now but I still hope everyday that the princess White will be ok. But back to the story.
That day was long and hot as I walked through the forests of my homeland, then, I heard an unfamiliar sound coming from about a mile off, I quickly drew my sword and walked twords the noise. As I got nearer I noticed the ground below my feet had been turned up and that some of the trees had been turned over. A dreadful wave of emotion swept over me as I walked closer and closer twords the noise. I smelt the smell of blood all around corpses laid either side of me as I breathed in that horrible scent. That landscape below me was a dreadful site I almost fainted in disbelief at it. The land below me was black, red and filled with people fighting. All I could hear for miles is the sound of clash against clash of swords and men screaming in terror as there team mates fell all around them. I stood and watched in horror at these dreadful sites I am now seeing. A small gasp caught my ear and turned round drawing my sword, there, lying under a puddle of blood was a face I recognized. Even under all the cuts and wounds against there face I could. It was White. As I stopped down to knelt beside her I noticed another familer face, but this one was lucky to be alive.
“Kane! Are you alright?!” I shook him gently but he diden’t respond, his breathing was rough and hard but he was alive, I was thankful for that. Kane you see was my brother; he went after White about 7 months ago. White gave a shudder then fell silent.
