I was curious one day whether my account was still there. So I checked to see if my account was still there on your forum (WHICH, LATER ON, YOU DID THE EXACT SAME THING TO US) and posted there. SEVERAL TIMES. You did not ban me. So tell me... what was I doing wrong? :iMock:



After your little posting incident (KEYWORD: AFTER) we then decided to use my account to keep an eye on your forum. Why shouldn't we? I had already posted there RECENTLY, and you still hadn't banned me. Obviously, you didn't mind us being there. So, we weren't even committing any sort of crime.
Also, doesn't Th3w's post there kind of prove that we hadn't done any spying before hand? Because when he posted that, he didn't know that it wasn't really spying, for reasons already stated...



Please, prove to us that ALL of our team was up to this, not just Tapika. Tell me, where there is it written that all of us were in on that? How do you know that it wasn't just Tapika trying something stupid? Because you can't really prove anything from it...

Heh. I think that it's clear nobody really cares about events that took place over a year ago, but just to make a point, let me show you that everything you just posted is utterly refutable.

Firstly, let me relate to you some events that most of Anaglyph isn't even aware of.

On July 18th, 2007, I received this e-mail from BCG member Icey.





After a brief e-mail conversation, I agreed to allow Icey to help us out under the codename "Puppeteer". After doing some pointless critique of our sound and music, he disappeared. I figured he was just busy with other priorities, but shortly after Cricky began this whole drama, he made an interesting claim on BCGAdmincentral, their recently abandoned staff forum. Apparently, Cricky's "had access" to our music and programming. Since these were the only things "Puppeteer" ever involved himself in, it doesn't take a rocket scientists to know that Icey had been showing Cricky some of our work. Beyond that, shortly before the outbreak of BCG's random hostility, Anaglyph had noticed some unusual activity from THT and other BCG members (a long time ago, I permitted them to view our secret staff forum. They never bothered with it until shortly before their dramatic scene on our forum). Interesting, no?

Now here's some events even more interesting.

Once again he refers to his sources. Suspicious, hmmmm?

So, summarized, it's clear that BCG has no moral qualms with spying on us in order to prove that we spied on them... a year ago. It looks like the ethical flexibility was fruitless anyway, since the evidence you posted is so easily explained that I can't imagine you were even aware of the events that casts them in a comprehensible light.






This is explained easily. Leppy has had access to BCG's staff forums for some time, with the consent of Cricky. In more peaceful times, we had exchanged staff forum permissions, in order to establish a truce. I have an account there as well (assuming this is the forum I'm thinking about).




I'm pretty sure you guys at BCG can read, but... apparently they didn't read Th3w's post. He clearly states that he didn't begin any act of surveillance until AFTER BCG posted their long-winded complaint. In reality, he used Leppy's account to access a forum we've had access too all along, and I used to check every week or too. You can see some of my posts on your BCGadmincentral board, showing friendly discussion.





I quite honestly have no idea what Tapika was doing here, or what forum this is on. Apparently, neither does BCG, since it's not specified. Anyway, I tried logging in the account Tapika created, and it didn't work- my password isn't used. I never used this account- I get the impression Tapika used it as a joke of some sort. I wonder why your older members don't recall this.


I am still not entirely sure what BCG is trying to do or prove. We have not spied on you, and any hypothetical act of spying took place in APRIL 2006. LET IT GO.

It's pretty sad, really. Cricky quickly deleted the topic on BCGadmincentral, but a huge flame fest fueled by Cricky spawned from one of Leppy's inquiries. In said topic, he calls us a variety of impressively original insults, namely "big fat greasy nerds", "dicks", and "scumbags". Clearly, the sophistication of Cricky's game studio is endlessly superior to ours. We should respect the trouble they've taken to make us see the error of our ways, and I sincerely repent for "spying" on a forum they let me have access to.

I'd take this more seriously if BCG's development skill was on the level of our competitor's, but sadly, some of the stuff they've come up with is pathetic. I try to respect my fellow game designers, but I can't respect people who bite off more than they can chew, and pretend that they're doing the right thing as they choke to death on their own horrible misunderstandings.



I'm sorry for the drama, folks. I'll close this topic and ban anybody who attempts to cause more trouble.
