Let me just take the time in a news topic to remind everyone that one of the few rules we actually have pertains to profanity. The word filters are there for a reason. Do not circumvent them in any way, including the use of tags. In the past few days profanity has shot through the roof in all sections of the forums, and it's not okay. If it continues, warnings will be administered, and in persisting cases posting restrictions.

It's not hard to follow a few common sense rules we have had laid down since the start.

The word filter is entertainment, and should not be taken seriously, ONF.

And most of them actually post more intelligent stuff then half the things we post here, lol. :P

This is a really stupid rule

The point being that this fan forum is meant for our fans. Some teenagers and older find pointless swearing extremely immature. There are better ways of expressing yourself. Until Alg himself says it's okay to openly swear and repeals the word filters, this rule will still apply.
