Alg is currently having some computer problems.
There have evidently been some pretty hellish storms in Illinois recently and he's informed me that his internet has conked out.
So, if he's not on, you know why. I don't know - and I doubt he does either - how long it'll be before he DOES have internet access; hopefully not long.
But yeah, just thought everyone should know!

Yea, he lives over in Des Plaines, and I'm about an hour or so away, and I've been getting my *** pounded by these storms. It seems to have stopped right now, tho.
Not to mention, the governor declared a few counties in the Chicago area (the area where Alg and I live) disaster zones.
Our neighbors also got 6 feet of water in their basement.
Hope he's okay.
AdioBam, how many times must I tell you not to circumvent word filters? Just because you're staff does not mean you're exempt from the rules. Knock it off.

Disaster zones? Ouch.
Yeah, he's alright. I don't think his house - or family - got much damage at all, actually.

It was awful yesterday, but today it's been surprisingly calm. But I'm pretty sure the storms may move over here; Alg and I live relatively close, and if he's getting pounded, I'm sure I will.

OK, I'm watching Fox right now. They've got these pics of the damage, trees uprooted and stuff. I think it comes from the DuPage area. I think Des Plaines is a little to East of that area, but I could be wrong.
The Fox News Weather Skank [/simpsonsreference] is saying that Sunday will be mostly sunny. There is a God.

I was kinda surprised at first. Never knew it flooded up north too (tropical storms/hurricanes/flooding usually happens around the Gulf). That sucks.
